2. We pass your enquiry to one local installer
Your enquiry goes to a single local installer covering your area, not a shared pool of bidders, and not a call centre. This site is a referral service: we introduce you to the installer, but we are not the contractor carrying out the work.
3. The installer contacts you directly
The installer gets in touch to discuss the job, arrange a visit if needed, and put together a written quote. From this point on, you're dealing with them directly — any questions about the work, the price, or timing go to them, not to this site.
4. You decide whether to go ahead
There's no obligation to accept a quote or proceed with any work. If you'd like a second opinion, you're free to get other quotes compared before deciding.
Checking who you're dealing with
Because we're not the contractor, we'd encourage every homeowner to check an installer's own credentials and insurance directly with them before agreeing to any work, and to get the scope of work and price confirmed in writing. Roof work happens at height — the Health and Safety Executive publishes general guidance on working at height safely, which is worth being aware of when discussing access and equipment with an installer.
